Game Stories

  • Senior Night Win Over Marshall On Mon, 29 Apr, the TJ Seniors came to play!  In a tight, back and forth game with the Marshall Statesmen, the TJ Varsity pulled out a nice 13-10 victory on Senior Night.  Led by the pinpoint shooting of Alex Kim and Bohe Hosking, we pulled away in the 2nd half to get the big win in front of some die-hard wet fans.  Everyone seemed to step up and play a little extra hard to make sure we got the win for the Seniors as a way of saying thank you for your years of playing TJ Lacrosse.

  • Tough Loss to Hayfield (3/15) On Fri, 15 Mar, the Varsity team fought hard in a very closely contested game against Hayfield High School.  Senior Goalie Gordon Hart kept the team in the game with some great saves, but we just couldn't get enough shots past the Hayfield goalie.  Niether team led by more than 1 goal and Hayfield ended on top with a 4-3 final score.  In the JV game, Hayfield controlled the ball most of the first half to take a 5-0 lead at halftime.  In the 2nd half, we scored a couple late goals but fell 9-2.
