  • TJ Varsity Lacrosse Wins a Nail-Biter in OT 7 April 2010The Varsity Lacrosse players sure do know how to stress out their fans!  In a nail-biter of a game, TJ beats Washington-Lee High School in OT 9-8.TJ came out slow and was outscored and outmaneuvered in the first half, trailing at half time 1-5.  With an angry TJ team, they came out much inspired in the third quarter and went on to outscore Washington-Lee 4-2 to end the quarter down, but not out at 5-7.  With five minutes left to go in the game, TJ was down 5-8, but managed to fire it up and tie up the game at 8 all to go into over time.  With ...

After a barn-burner that went into overtime, the Colonials pulled out the stunning victory by a score of 13-12. The Bulldogs gave the Colonials a number of scares early in the first quarter to make their offensive presence felt.
